Exercise and fitness make a whole difference when combating depression, anxiety and stress. People who regularly exercise are less likely to get a big spike in cortisol. Too much cortisol for too long can cause brain fog. It lowers memory recall and new learning.

Movement is key, and we are not talking about killing ourselves in the gym. First of all, no matter which stage of life you find yourself in, you need to get your body moving; you have to exercise somehow. Today one can find programs online and in local gyms for all ages and any fitness conditioning.
