Nicole Gibson is a millennial entrepreneur whose core message is love. She talks of how love is the foundation of her recovery from anorexia nervosa and forms the cornerstone of her entrepreneurial journey.

According to Nicole, living whole-heartedly is liberating. Still, it is not simply living free from pain but being able to view tribulation as an integral part of the journey. Nicole tells with honesty and conviction of finding spiritual sustenance along the way that allowed her to know that she was not her diagnosis. Finding a “guardian angel” in the form of a school principal is well worth hearing about. And through what this man did for her allowed Nicole to have an experience of what servant leadership meant.

Nicole tells of her entrepreneurial journey in terms of trusting her inner self in discerning when to accept or decline investments no matter how attractive the offer or how desperate the need is. According to Nicole Gibson, what you are creating and what state you are creating from is equally important.

Nicole Gibson was a finalist for the Young Australian of the Year at 20 years old and listed as one of Australia’s top 100 most influential women at 21, shortly after taking out the Pride of Australia Medal. She made the front cover of The Financial Review and the Yellow Pages.

She is a fierce ambassador for mental health, innovation, and connection. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of The Rogue & Rouge Foundation and recently completed three terms as the youngest Commonwealth Commissioner for Mental Health.

In 2016 Nicole completed her first international speaking tour, speaking at institutions like Oxford University and The Anna Freud Centre. That tour itinerary included Europe, the USA and Central/South America.
